In February 2020 the European Commission and the Federal Environment Agency organised the 2nd workshop on NoCheRo. At the workshop a draft guideline for testing the efficacy and animal welfare of rodent traps was presented. Overall the guideline received positive feedback. It was agreed that an objective evaluation of traps is necessary to improve animal welfare, identify inefficient traps and collect data for comparative assessment.
NoCheRo is being heard and acknowledged and we expect that the ECHA will have to assess alternatives, which means less tox and more innovative IPM and digital solutions for the near future.
Together with Behr's Verlag, we regularly publish articles, newsletters and lectures on the subject of "Digital Pest Control".
Daniel Schröer, Managing Director of Futura, for example, wrote an article in cooperation with Behr's Verlag for the pest control handbook in which he explains what is behind the eMitter and NARA brands, how they are used, the effects of poisons on the environment and how to reduce the use of baits. Thereby Schröer focuses on the digital product portfolio.
The Association for the Promotion of Ecological Pest Control is a professional organisation of companies and partners in pest control, which promotes and supports the ecological idea of pest control with its activities.
The aims of the association are to minimise the use of hazardous substances by educating the ranks of pest controllers and to carry out training and further training measures for its members.
Futura Germany is a member of this association in DE and supports the aims of the VFöS.
We at Futura Germany stand for sustainability. And since bees also play an important role in a functioning ecosystem, we have our own. So we can produce honey ourselves - naturally and regionally.
Here you will find selected articles about activities of Futura Germany. We are pleased to be able to convince you.
