In February 2020 the European Commission and the Federal Environment Agency organised the 2nd workshop on NoCheRo. At the workshop a draft guideline for testing the efficacy and animal welfare of rodent traps was presented. Overall the guideline received positive feedback. It was agreed that an objective evaluation of traps is necessary to improve animal welfare, identify inefficient traps and collect data for comparative assessment.
NoCheRo is considered the new standard throughout the EU and Futura Germany is actively fighting for less rodenticides to be used in pest control. Digital traps are the future!

The Association for the Promotion of Ecological Pest Control is a professional organisation of companies and partners in pest control, which promotes and supports the ecological idea of pest control with its activities.
