Allergen management is a well-known issue in many food businesses.
NARA® is the first allergen-free monitor developed specifically for this purpose.
Legislation and various food standards now prohibit the use of anticoagulants for monitoring purposes. Only when rodent activity is detected may anticoagulants be used under strict conditions.
Conventional detection monitors have a decisive disadvantage. For rodents, they serve as food, ensure a longer life and an increasing reproduction rate. In addition, most conventional monitors are prone to mould growth in humid areas. In other areas, they are often infested by non-target organisms, such as rice flour beetles, cockroaches, silverfish, ants, slugs and moths.
Any monitors will start to mould or become unattractive after a short time. NARA® Spray directs pests specifically to the trap or station while retaining its full attractiveness. It is thus a promising instrument to make the station and the monitor attractive again in the long term. Experts rely on NARA® Spray and can now act even more flexibly thanks to the variability of the two aromas.
Steve Gould has tested the NARA Spray for us in a field trial. Read here what experiences he has made in the use of the NARA Spray.
The eMitter® PestCam has been specially developed for use in permanent pest monitoring. Instead of gnawing on bait, the camera shows you what has come in front of the 100° lens and when. The day and night mode can be switched by a timer to save energy when the camera is not needed.
You can find our eMitter Pestcam here.
The interaction of the eMitter® PestCam and the Nara® Spray enables the user to monitor even more efficiently. New stimuli can be set at the trap or station in a targeted manner, which attracts the pests. For optimal monitoring, the PestCam offers permanent pest monitoring. In this way, pests can be identified in the shortest possible time, which means that the next control measures can be initiated more effectively.
