Futura Germany

Pest prevention since 2002. Digital since 2007.

Futura is self-funded and has been profitable since its founding. This independence allows us to think in terms of product cycles rather than quarters—and to consistently invest in development, manufacturing quality, and our own platform. Based in Germany, we develop and market technologies and solutions for modern pest monitoring and sustainable prevention.

About 30 employees develop, assemble, and maintain our systems—from sensors to the platform to technical support. Our devices are in use in over 60 countries.

More than 1,000 professional customers use our systems, many of them for over a decade. Once installed, the devices generally remain in use for years — and existing customers are continually expanding their installations.

The industry is facing a structural shift—from chemical pest control to continuous digital monitoring. We have been working on this transition since 2007 and have the products, the platform, and the manufacturing capacity to support it.

Digital infrastructure for modern pest monitoring

Futura develops technologies that combine physical monitoring devices with software, connectivity and data analysis. Our systems enable continuous monitoring of monitoring points and provide companies with reliable information about pest activity at all times.

Today, more than 150,000 networked monitoring devices are in use worldwide—in production facilities, logistics centers, industrial plants, and retail chains. Each Emitter device is permanently connected via the Emitter Cloud, with an ongoing service, connectivity, and data contract. This transforms hardware installed once into a continuously operating infrastructure.

Our devices are directly connected—without gateways or additional on-site hardware. This reduces the installation effort and eliminates one of the most common sources of error during continuous operation. We deploy updates over the air, ensuring that installed devices remain up to date for years. Monitoring data can be imported into existing CAFM, ERP, and quality management systems via open interfaces.

Step by step, this creates a digital monitoring infrastructure and database for modern pest management. Instead of isolated inspections, companies gain continuous insights into activities, trends, and potential risks. We provide hardware, connectivity, software, and data analysis—all from a single source. This is essential to ensuring that our installations operate reliably for years to come and grow alongside our customers.

– Over 20 years in business, profitable and self-financed since its founding.
– About 30 employees: in-house development, assembly, shipping, and support.
– Over 150,000 connected devices in more than 60 countries.

We finance our development through our day-to-day operations. That determines what we build: systems that must withstand continuous operation for years.

Consumer products with professional DNA

In addition to its professional B2B business, Futura has been active in the consumer market for over 20 years—as a separate sales channel with its own brands. The Futura Shop is one of the leading specialized online stores for pest control and hygiene in the DACH region.

There, we offer products developed specifically for private households, including sustainable solutions such as beneficial insects and organic treatments for the environmentally friendly protection of homes and gardens.

Under our GreenHero® brand, we also develop and sell innovative products for animal care and pest control – for both private and professional use.

In this way, we combine technological expertise from the professional sector with user-friendly solutions for consumers and cover both professional and private needs holistically.

In addition to our own online store, these products are also available via various marketplaces.

Close to our customers, shipping worldwide, built for regulated environments.

Futura Germany stands behind all brands as an independently operating company with clear responsibility for development, quality and customer relations. We work with select national and international manufacturing and logistics partners, whose processes and quality we regularly review.

We support our customers personally – from the initial inquiry through to long-term collaboration. As an active industry player, we are regularly represented at national and international trade fairs and are in constant contact with the market, science and practice.

In product development, we collaborate with research and technology partners, including the Fraunhofer Institute and Deutsche Telekom.

Development, assembly and shipping are all in our hands. Thanks to modern processes and sound regulatory expertise, we ship our products worldwide in accordance with current legal and industry-specific standards.

Regulatory requirements for pest prevention are becoming more stringent—in Germany and in other European markets. Our systems were developed before these requirements were introduced. Anyone making the switch today is doing so with technology that has proven itself in operation for years.

IFS Pathway Partner: Our systems are designed to meet the documentation requirements of the IFS standard.

AIB International: Our systems are designed to meet the documentation and record-keeping requirements of AIB-audited facilities.

Developed in Germany: Development, assembly, and support are all handled at our facility in Germany.
